How to Remember for the Future explores the documentation of unexpected experiences that affect memories of a certain time and place.
I am excited to share that I am one of nine artists in the Humber Galleries CONTACT Photography Festival college-wide exhibition takeover How to Remember for the Future. The exhibition asked artists from the Humber College and University of Guelph-Humber community to explore the documentation of unexpected experiences that affect memories of a certain time and place. Curated by Diane Pellicone and Casey Norr, the installations have been dispersed across three campuses (Lakeshore, North, and Downtown) to increase their visibility and expose the entire college community to this event.
The participating artists are a mix of emerging and professional photographers, and include students, staff, faculty, and alumni.
Carlos Bezz, Richelle Forsey, Tatiana Gorbal, Sandra Herber, Melinda Komuves, John Kosmopoulos, Ebru Kur, Negar Pooya, and Celene Tang.
My work is installed In Gratitude Hall in the Humber College North Campus – 205 Humber College Blvd, Etobicoke, ON M9W 6V3.
The exhibition opens May 18 and continues until the Fall.
