The short film Wall-Custance Memorial Forest Planting 2020 featuring my aerial videography is now online.

Every year until COVID-19, The Arboretum at the University of Guelph would host several thousand people for a tree dedication service in the Memorial Forest, in the memory of passed loved ones.  I had the pleasure of being able to contribute some aerial photography for the short film Wall-Custance Memorial Forest Planting 2020 that documents the planting of this year’s tree, an elm sapling from The Arboretum’s Elm Recovery Project, that replaces the canceled in-person ceremony for 2020.

The film was edited and sound mixed by my incredibly talented friend Ed Sinclair – who I spent most of the summer working with (virtually of course!) on IF 2020 for IICSI. My grandmother, Margaret Esther Forsey passed away in her 98th year (!!) on August 26, 2020, and the sapling, a disease resistant elm, will grow in her memory.
