RMG Exposed 2012!

  Nobody ever discovered ugliness through photographs. But many, through photographs, have discovered beauty. Except for those situations in which the camera is used to document, or mark social rites, what moves people to take photographs is finding something beautiful....Nobody exclaims, "Isn't that ugly! I must take a photograph of it." Even if someone did say that, all it would mean is: "I find that ugly thing. ....

The Packard Automotive Plant is Burning!

Last month I had the chance to photograph Detroit's abandoned Packard Automotive Plant. It is 3.5 million square foot photographers playground. Of course we only saw a fraction of the site as we were trying to see and shoot as much of the city as we could during our 3 day "tour".
